Da Floataz.
Da Floataz is a Charlotte‑born rap collective created by Holly Ford of Holly Ford Music Group, uniting three distinct voices — Indeux Shabazz, Westside Ree, and Rappin’ Mitch. Together, they’ve built one of the most original creative ecosystems in the Carolinas, blending raw lyricism, cinematic visuals, and a cult‑level approach to branding.
The group broke out with Drop Tha Addy EP, the full Drop Tha Addy Album, and the underground staple Empty Parking Lots & Pimpin’ Mixtape hosted by Wash House Studios. Their momentum carried into the Diamond Cloud Tour, solidifying Da Floataz as a force in Charlotte’s rising rap renaissance.
Da Floataz also built a merch universe that mirrors their music.
Diamond Cloud Co. merch reflects the surreal, atmospheric world of the Diamond Cloud Tour.
Empty Parking Lots & Pimpin’ merch captures the gritty, late‑night energy of the mixtape.
Drop Tha Addy merch extends the high‑energy chaos of the project itself.
Their branding continues through curated playlists that expand the Floataz universe:
Dead Fresh Charlotte — all Charlotte artists, all Carolina energy.
Send Cuz Bail $$$ — a cinematic mix of regional and national artists with matching merch drops.
Each member brings a cult‑driven solo world:
Rappin’ Mitch — creator of the classic ’84 BA$e, featuring BLK Rob, Bingo, and WALK.
Indeux Shabazz — known for Whips N Chains I‑77, Becky, Keisha, and his full album Note to Self.
Westside Ree — the architect behind the gangsta hit Big Smoke.
Da Floataz isn’t just a rap group — it’s a creative movement, a brand, and a Charlotte cultural engine. Every project, playlist, and merch drop expands the world they’re building, one release at a time.
